Give a second life to a second-hand desk by transforming it with a quick, easy, and durable Cabinet Transformations Kit.

  1. Remove any desk drawers and existing hardware To clean the wood desk, use the Deglosser that comes in the Transformations Kit by pouring a small amount onto a lint-free cloth and wiping down all surfaces
  2. Allow Deglosser to dry (no need to rinse) and use a dry cloth to wipe off any remaining residue
  3. IMPORTANT: When deglossing wood, follow the direction of the grain. Avoid scrubbing in a circular motion and wipe up any spilled Deglosser with a clean cloth Using the stir stick provided in the kit, thoroughly mix the Bond Coat in the can and then pour into a container
  4. Apply the Bond Coat with a quality synthetic paint brush, brushing in the direction of the woodgrain. Once dry, re-coat as needed until full coverage is achieved
  5. The Cabinet Transformations Kit comes with a decorative glaze that is optional. If you choose not to apply the glaze, proceed with the protective top coat Apply the Protective Top Coat to all surfaces with a clean synthetic brush and avoid over brushing areas that have already started to dry
  6. Once all surfaces are completely dry, re-attach any hardware and drawers
