  1. Clean the empty can thoroughly and ensure the surface is fully dry.

  2. Using the Modern Masters Metal Effects Rust kit, apply the primer onto the surface and let dry.

  3. Once dry, apply the iron effect with a brush. Let dry for one hour.

  4. Tape off all unprotected areas, and apply the activator to magically make the rust appear. Let sit for two hours for the finish to fully activate.
