Large Drop Cloth
Fast and functional! This patio pallet bar project is easy to create and easy to put to use. Narrow enough to slide up against a wall, but big enough to hold your favorite beverages. Rust-Oleum's Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover will get the job done in a snap.
Step 1: Shake the primer can for one minute after the mixing ball rattles. Over a drop cloth, spray the plywood and pallets using slow, back-and-forth motions, slighly overlapping each coat for even coverage. Primer allows for better paint adhesion and a longer-lasting finish. Allow primer to dry for 1 hour or 48 hours before applying paint color.
Step 2: Shake the Sun Yellow paint can for one minute after the mixing ball rattles. Apply the paint to the plywood piece the same way as the primer. Let dry for about 30 minutes, then flip it over to do the other side and let dry another 30 minutes. Set aside and prepare the pallet.
Step 3: Place a pallet in the center of the drop cloth. Spray the Satin paint the same way as the primer. Apply 2-3 coats, letting each dry for about 30 minutes before applying the next.
Step 4: Allow your project to dry for at least 1 hour before handling and at least 24 hours before assembling. Then assemble your bar to fit your space.
